May 21st Haul

I had a recent short trip into the States and came back with this mini-haul:

Top to Bottom: Wet N' Wild Balm Stain Moisturizing Lip Color in Red-dy Or Not, Jordana Fabuliner in Black, and Milani Brow Shaping Clear Wax.

So far I've tested out the balm stain (wow is this a great colour and lasts all day! best red I've found for myself so far!) and the brow wax has become a part of my everyday make-up routine!

Really happy with these US drugstore products and wished we had access to them in Canada!

My Victoria Day mani hails from good ole England! This is two coats of butter London Primrose Hill Picnic over my butter London Nail Foundation and topped with my Revlon Multi-Care Base+Top Coat.

Really a great medium pink, think this colour would be flattering on most skin tones!

To change up from the Spring looks I've been doing here's a vampy red! This is Sparitual Epicurean (from this haul), this was 2 coats, but you can see this was still a bit patchy.

So far my experience with Sparitual is hit or miss, we'll see how the rest of the shades swatch!

I really like this combo! This is two coats of Nails Inc. Porchester Square on the index and pinky fingers with one coat of Nails Inc. Porchester Square topped with one coat of Chelsea Square on the middle and ring fingers (both from this haul).

I like how soft and feminine this was without being in your face pink and sparkles!

May Sephora Haul!

I was tempted by Sephora again.... what can I say make-up sets really appeal to me!

A switch back to the dark side!  This is 2 coats of Julep Millie with 1 coat of Dr.'s Remedy Deserving Diamond on the accent. I used butter London Nail Foundation as the base and topped the mani with Revlon Multi-Care Base+Top Coat!

I really like Millie, one of my favourite Julep crème finish polish, very close to being a one-coater!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! While this mani is not exactly Mexico-inspired, it is super hot imo!

This is 2 coats of Sparitual Dreamsicle (from this haul) with 1 coat of Sephora by OPI Dream Princess (from this haul) on the accent nail. I started and finished this mani with Revlon Multi-Care Base+Top Coat.

Perfectly summer appropriate right?

April Empties!

April wasn't my best month for empties, but you'll be surprised by the theme I think!

L to R: Ducray Squanorm Shampoo, Secret Clinical Strength Anti-perspirant in Ooh-la-la Lavender

Ducray Squanorm Shampoo: same as the last time, see review here. Still a fav! Have already repurchased!

Secret Clinical Strength Anti-perspirant in Ooh-la-la Lavender: similar review to here, however I enjoy this scent more than the regular scent!

Neutrogena All-in-One Make-up Removing Cleansing Wipes: I love these wipes for those nights when I just want to get into bed as fast as possible! These are fast, effective, and gentle! These are my favourite make-up removing wipes, however they aren't quite as good as Lancôme Bi-Facil, which is my HG eye make-up remover. I also love the Nighttime version of these!

Dove Damage Therapy Shampoo in Nectarine and White Ginger: I love this scent! I also feel like this shampoo didn't completely strip my hair clean (in a good way, my hair was softer after using this shampoo than other shampoos). Although my hair isn't damaged, I really enjoyed this shampoo and will likely repurchase it in the future!

So there you have it, my 4 empties from April (at least they're all full-size)!

I love this mani! Two polish that didn't disappoint! This is two coats of Sephora by OPI Skinny Jeans (from this haul), one coat of Nails Inc. Soho Street on my index and pinky fingers.
In order to avoid the staining that is often associated with blue/green/teal nails I used my butter London Nail Foundation.

These were both easy to work with and great formulas! I definitely recommend them!
